The unit is a “true-presence” detecting unit for each of the zones and can provide accurate measurements of volume, occupancy and average speed. Output from the unit is both data and dry contact which can be integrated into traffic management centers for freeway operations. You can replace loop detectors by connecting to loop terminals in cabinets and installing an interface card in the loop monitor card rack.
